Rule 3548 Duplicate Original for Communications Common Carrier

When a judge signs an order that involves a communications company (like a phone or internet provider), two copies of that order should be signed at the same time.

The second signed copy is meant to be handed directly to the communications company. Having a second original makes it easier to give the company its own official copy while keeping the original on file with the court.
