Rule 3549 Transmission of Sealed Materials

When a judge seals documents in a case, those documents need to be sent to the Superior Court. The judge puts the sealed envelope inside a second envelope marked "Confidential" and mails or hand delivers it to the correct Superior Court office listed in the sealing order.

The person who asked for the documents to be sealed (called the Applicant) also has the option to hand deliver the sealed materials to the court themselves instead of having the judge send them.
