Rule 3806 Appellant’s Brief

If you are appealing a confidential case on an expedited basis, you have the option to file a written memorandum with the Superior Court. This document should explain the issues you are raising in your appeal. You have until the end of the second business day after you filed your notice of appeal to submit it.

The memorandum is not required, but filing one gives you a chance to explain your arguments in writing before the court reviews your case. The filing goes to the office of the Superior Court Prothonotary, which is the court clerk's office that handles these documents.
