Rule 3814 Reconsideration

If you disagree with a decision made by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, you have 7 days from the date of their order to ask them to reconsider it. This request is called a petition for reconsideration.

When you file this petition, you must bring one original copy plus eight additional copies to the Supreme Court's Prothonotary, which is the court's official record-keeping office. That means you need a total of nine copies when you show up to file.
