Rule 3901 Confidentiality

When someone files an adoption case in a Pennsylvania appeals court, all the paperwork stays private. This includes petitions, reports, testimony, and any other documents related to the case.

If someone who is not part of the case wants to see those documents, they cannot simply ask for them. The court will only share the documents if a judge approves a request and there is a good reason to do so.
