Rule 2313 Pre-trial conference

When everyone involved in a case has finished filing their paperwork, the judge will set up a pre-trial conference. This is a meeting held before the actual trial begins.

At this meeting, the judge and the lawyers (or the people in the case) talk through the issues and try to get organized before trial. Rule 212 lays out the specific details of how that conference works.
