Rule 3163 Possession of real property located in more than one county

If you win a court case and get a writ of possession for land that stretches across more than one county, one sheriff can handle the whole job. You do not need to get separate sheriffs from each county involved.

The sheriff from the county where the court issued the writ has the authority to carry out the order on all parts of the property, no matter which county those parts are in. This keeps things simple and avoids extra paperwork or legal steps.
