Rule 3210 Two or more claimants; issue; possession

When multiple people claim ownership of the same property, a court can step in to sort things out. This situation is called an interpleader, which is when someone holding property lets a court decide who really owns it.

Any party involved in the case can ask the court to take action. The court will then issue an order that sets up the specific questions that need to be answered at trial. The court will also decide what happens to the property while everyone waits for the case to be resolved.
