Rule 3211 Perishable property

If something that was seized in a lawsuit can spoil, rot, or lose value quickly, the court can step in to handle it. This could include things like food, plants, livestock, or other items that won't last long.

Anyone with a stake in the property, or even the sheriff, can ask the court to decide what to do with it. The court can order the property to be stored, sold, or divided up in whatever way makes the most sense given the situation.
