Rule 1134 Proceedings in Camera

If someone asks for a private court hearing, or if the judge decides to hold one, a court recorder must be there to write down everything that is said. These private hearings are called "in camera" proceedings, which just means they happen away from the public.

Every lawyer representing a party in the case has the right to be in the room during these private hearings. No attorney can be left out.
