Rule 147 Applies to Any Party

Anyone involved in a lawsuit who wants the court to rule in their favor must follow the same rules about court costs and security deposits. It does not matter if you are the one who filed the lawsuit or the one defending against it.

These rules apply equally to all sides. If you are asking the court for anything, you are expected to meet the same requirements as everyone else in the case.
