Rule 693 Principles of Equity Applicable

When a court handles an injunction case, it follows the traditional rules of equity courts. These are long-standing legal principles that guide how judges make fair decisions when someone asks a court to order another person to do something or stop doing something.

These equity principles only apply when they do not conflict with Texas statutes or the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. If there is a conflict, the written rules and statutes take priority over the older equity principles.
