Rule 723 Docketing Cause

When someone claims that seized property belongs to them and posts a bond to fight for it in court, the court clerk must add the case to the court's schedule. The case gets listed under the original lawsuit, with the person who started the lawsuit listed as the plaintiff and the person claiming the property listed as the "intervening claimant."

This keeps everything organized under one case instead of opening a brand new lawsuit. The property dispute becomes part of the existing court record.
