Rule 732 Return of Property by Claimant

If you win a judgment against someone who wrongfully took your property, that person has another option besides just paying you money. They can return the property in the same condition they got it, and also pay for any time they used it plus court costs.

If they do both of these things within 10 days of the judgment, it counts as fully paying off what they owe. You cannot go after them for anything more once they return the property and pay those costs.
