Rule 734 Levy on Other Property

If someone challenges a levy (seizure of property) in court, that legal fight does not stop the plaintiff from going after other property owned by the defendant. In other words, the challenge only covers the specific property being disputed, not everything the defendant owns.

So while the court sorts out whether one piece of property was properly seized, the plaintiff can still have the sheriff or constable seize other property belonging to the defendant to satisfy the debt. The dispute over one item does not freeze the entire collection process.
