Rule 780 Citation to Issue

When someone files the required paperwork to start a quo warranto case, the court clerk must send official notice to the person being challenged. This notice is called a citation.

The citation works the same way as in a regular civil lawsuit. It tells the defendant they must show up in court and respond to the claims made against them.
