Rule 7.10 Revocation of Accredited Status

If a group that offers judicial education courses lies about how well their course meets the official requirements, the Administrative Director can step in. The Director has the power to deny that group's accredited status from the start, or take away accreditation the group already has.

This rule exists to protect the accreditation system from false claims. Judges and judicial officials rely on accredited courses to meet their training requirements, so the courses need to actually deliver what they promise. If a sponsor misleads people about their program's qualifications, the Director can correct the problem by changing or removing that sponsor's approved status.
