Rule 7.4 Exemptions

Judges who are supposed to complete certain education or training requirements can sometimes get out of them, either partly or completely. The Administrative Director is the person who decides this, and they only grant exemptions when there's a real hardship or unusual situation making it hard for the judge to meet the requirement.

This means the rule isn't automatic. A judge can't just decide on their own to skip the training. They have to ask the Administrative Director, explain their situation, and get approval. The exemption can cover the whole requirement or just part of it, depending on what makes sense for that judge's circumstances.
