Rule 15.14 Obligation of participants to maintain proper delivery information

If you use the electronic filing system for court documents, you need to keep your contact information current. This means if your firm's name changes, or you get a new address, fax number, or email, you must update the e-filing system within 10 days.

If you choose to get email notifications from the system, it's on you to make sure your email address is correct and working. You also need to check that your email account is set up properly to actually receive these notifications, like making sure they don't get blocked or sent to spam. The court system isn't responsible for you missing important updates if your contact information is wrong or your email isn't working right.

Basically, this rule puts the responsibility on you to stay reachable. If you don't update your information and you miss a filing deadline or important notice because of it, that's on you, not the court.
