Rule 15A.06 Becoming a User; Credentials; Payment of Filing Fees

Anyone who wants to file documents electronically in West Virginia courts must first complete training before they get access to the e-filing system. This training happens before you can use the system for the first time.

After training, you need to complete the registration process and pay any required fees. Once you finish registration, the system sends you your login credentials by email. These credentials are what let you access the e-filing system going forward.

In short, there are three steps to becoming an e-filing user: complete the training, register and pay the fees, and then wait for your credentials to arrive by email. You cannot skip any of these steps to start filing documents electronically.
