Rule 15A.10 User of Credentials by Others

If you have your own login credentials for the court's electronic filing system, you can let someone else file documents for you. But there's a catch: that other person has to use their own unique credentials to do it, not yours.

This means you can't share your username and password with someone else so they can file under your name. Each person who files documents needs their own separate login. This keeps track of who actually submitted each filing and helps protect the integrity of the court's electronic records.

In practice, this often comes up when an attorney has staff members, like paralegals or assistants, who handle filings on their behalf. The attorney can authorize this, but the staff member filing the documents must log in with their own credentials, not the attorney's.
