Rule 2.03 Third Circuit

This rule sets out when court sessions start in the Third Circuit, which covers Doddridge, Pleasants, Ritchie, and Wirt counties. Each county has its own schedule with three set dates during the year when court terms begin.

In Doddridge County, court terms start on the second Monday in February, the second Monday in July, and the fourth Monday in October. Pleasants County's terms begin on the second Monday in January, the third Monday in May, and the fourth Monday in September. Ritchie County starts its terms on the fourth Monday in January, the first Monday in June, and the first Monday in October. Wirt County's terms begin on the last Monday in March, June, and September.
