Rule 6.03 Copies of Memoranda

When you file a memorandum with the court, you need to give the clerk the original copy. This is the main document that goes into the official court file.

You also need to give one extra copy to the judge handling your case. This makes sure the judge has their own copy to review, separate from what's in the court file.

Finally, you must send a copy to every other party involved in the case. This keeps everyone informed about what has been filed and what arguments are being made. Following this rule helps make sure the judge and all sides have the same information at the same time.
