This summary is not the rule. The rule text controls.
This rule used to require certain administrative reports in juvenile court cases, but it no longer applies. Alabama courts got rid of this rule back in 2006.
If you're looking at older case files or documents that mention Rule 7, know that it doesn't have any legal effect anymore. The courts removed it along with several other rules (Rule 4, Rule 19, Rule 21, and Rule 22) at the same time. This kind of change happens when courts update their procedures and decide certain rules are no longer needed.
If you're dealing with a current juvenile court matter, you don't need to worry about this rule at all. Check with a current copy of the Alabama Rules of Juvenile Procedure or talk to a lawyer if you have questions about what rules actually apply to your case today.
