Rule 10-3 Trial Date

When the court gives you a trial date, you and your lawyer must show up ready to go. There are no automatic extensions or delays just because the date is inconvenient.

The only way to avoid appearing on that date is if the court itself tells you otherwise. Do not assume the date will change unless you hear that directly from the court.
