Rule 20-3 Transmission of Record

When someone files a notice of appeal in the Business Court, the court clerk takes over from there. The clerk gathers all the documents and records from the case and sends them to the appeals court.

The clerk follows the specific rules of whichever appeals court will be hearing the case. Georgia law under OCGA § 5-6-43 sets the requirements for how this process works.
