§ 24-6-622 [Witness Feelings Toward Parties Provable]

This matters because a witness's feelings can affect how truthful or fair their testimony is. The jury gets to hear this information and decide how much weight to give the witness's statements. A witness who hates one party might shade their story, and the jury deserves to know that.
