If you break the rules about courtroom behavior, a judge can have you removed or banned from the courtroom. This applies to anyone in the court, whether you are a visitor, a party in the case, or anyone else present.

If a judge decides you broke the rules on purpose, the consequences can be more serious. You could be held in contempt of court, which can mean fines or even jail time.
