Rule 11.12 Disciplinary Authorities.

Municipal court judges and court staff sometimes have to investigate complaints or take action against lawyers or other court officials. This process is called disciplinary work.

When people are doing that kind of official disciplinary work, the rules in Rule 11 do not apply to them. They have separate rules that govern how they do their jobs in those situations.
