Rule 18.5 Bail on Bind Over or Jury Demand.

When a municipal court sends a case to a higher court, any bail money or bond that was already set goes with it. The new court takes over responsibility for that bail.

This means if you or someone you know paid bail in municipal court, that money does not stay with the municipal court when the case moves. It follows the case to whatever court handles it next.
