When these rules mention "clerk," they mean any person working as a clerk in a probate court. This includes both head clerks and deputy clerks.

If you need to file paperwork or have questions at the probate court, you can work with any of these clerks. It does not matter whether they are the main clerk or a deputy clerk, because the rules treat them the same way.
