Rule 2.2 Judge.

When these rules say "judge," they mean any active probate court judge in Georgia. The word also covers anyone else who is legally allowed to carry out the duties of a probate court judge at a given time.

This mainly matters because it tells you who has the authority to make decisions in your probate court case. If someone other than the regular judge is handling your case, they still count as a "judge" under these rules and have the same power to act on your case.
