Rule 5.2 Ex parte orders.

A judge can temporarily limit someone's access to a court file without notifying that person first. This can only happen when there is a very strong reason to act quickly.

This type of order can last no more than 30 days. To get it, the person asking must file a written motion along with a sworn statement explaining why the situation calls for immediate action.
