Rule 13.3 Number of Arguments

During oral arguments, a maximum of two lawyers can speak for the same side in a case. If a party wants more than two lawyers to argue, they must get special permission from the judge.

There is one firm limit that applies no matter what: only one lawyer per side can give the closing argument. Even if the judge allows extra lawyers to speak earlier, this rule on closing arguments cannot be changed.
