Rule 19.2 Criminal

If a criminal case gets moved to a different county, the judge who approved that move stays on the case. That judge travels with the case, so to speak, and keeps running it in the new county.

The only exception is if that judge has some reason they cannot legally serve on the case. If they are disqualified, a different judge would take over.
