Rule 19.3 Contested Election Results

When someone goes to court to challenge an election result, the case can be moved to any county in the state, not just a neighboring one. This gives courts more flexibility in finding the right place to handle these sensitive cases.

The county that originally had the case must pay the costs of transferring it and handling it in the new location. This means the people involved in the lawsuit do not have to worry about paying those transfer costs.
