Rule 2.2 Judge

The word "judge" in these rules covers more than just the main judges assigned to a court. It includes all active judges working in Georgia's superior courts.

The term also applies to senior judges and other judges who have been given permission to work in a superior court, even if that is not their permanent assignment. So if you have a hearing and a senior or visiting judge is presiding, that person counts as a "judge" under these rules.
