Rule 2.3 Clerk

The clerk is the person who works at the front desk of the court and handles paperwork, filings, and other official court business. Deputy clerks are staff members who work under the clerk and can do the same job.

When these court rules mention "the clerk," they mean any of these people, not just one specific person. So if you need to file documents or get help with court paperwork, you can work with the clerk or any of the deputy clerks at your local superior court.
