Rule 27 Pre–trial Release Program

Some counties in Georgia have a pre-trial release program that allows people to be released from jail while they wait for their court date. This kind of program has to be set up by the superior court judges in that area along with the county government.

Not every county has this program. It depends on whether the local judges and county officials have chosen to create one.
