§ 1.5 Terms of Service; Number of Members

The Hawaiʻi Supreme Court decides how long people can serve on the Board of Bar Examiners. This includes the Chairperson, Vice-chairperson, and all other members. The court sets their terms of service.

The Supreme Court also decides how many people sit on the Board overall. In short, the court controls both the size of the Board and how long each member stays on it.
