If you need a transcript made from an electronic recording of a court proceeding, you have to file a written request with the clerk of the district court. You also need to send a copy of that request to the managing court reporter, or to whichever court reporter the clerk has assigned to handle it.

The cost for this transcript is not extra or different just because it came from a recording instead of a live reporter. You will pay the same rate that applies to transcripts prepared by an official court reporter.
