Art. 4393 Contents of account

When someone acts as a tutor for a minor (managing their money or property), they have to file an account showing what happened to that money. This rule says the tutor's account must include the same information that a succession representative has to include in their account.

That means the account needs to show all the money that came in, all the money that was spent, and what property or funds are left. It should give a clear picture of how the tutor handled the minor's money or assets during the time they were in charge.

This rule keeps things consistent. Instead of creating separate rules for what tutors must report, the law just points to the existing rules already used for handling estates. This makes sure tutors are held to the same clear standards of honesty and detail as people managing a deceased person's estate.
