XXVI § 3 Subsequent Selection, Revision or Supplementation.

This rule deals with how courts pick people for jury duty pools, called a general venire. It says that if someone was left off a jury list in the past because of information the court checked at that time, the court cannot automatically leave that person off future jury lists just because they were excluded before.

In simple terms, this means each time the court builds a new jury pool, it has to look at a person's current situation. Past reasons for exclusion do not count forever. A person's circumstances can change, so the court has to check again rather than assume the old information still applies.

This protects people from being unfairly and permanently shut out of jury service based on old or outdated information. It also helps make sure jury pools stay fair and include people who are now eligible, even if they were not eligible before.
