XXXIII Pt. I § 3 Reassignment authority

If a court handles juvenile cases, it can move cases around after they've already been randomly assigned to a judge. Instead of keeping every case with the judge it was first sent to, the court can shift certain cases to a special division that focuses on a particular type of juvenile matter.

This means families and kids involved in the court system might not stay with the first judge assigned to their case. If the case fits better in a specialized division, like one that handles specific issues within juvenile law, the court has the power to send it there instead.

The main point is that courts have flexibility. They don't have to stick with random assignment if it makes more sense to have certain cases handled by judges or divisions with specific focus or experience in that area.
