Rule 596 Delivery of Writ

When a court issues a writ of attachment, it must be dated and formatted like other court orders. A writ of attachment is a legal document that allows property to be held or seized while a case is ongoing.

The court officer who issues the writ has two options for getting it to the right people. They can hand it directly to the sheriff or constable, or they can give it to the plaintiff, the plaintiff's representative, or the plaintiff's lawyer to deliver.
