Rule 778 Costs

When land or property is divided among several people in a partition case, each person pays court costs based on how much their share is worth. If your share is worth more, you pay more of the costs. If your share is worth less, you pay less.

For example, if three people split a property and one person gets half the value while the other two each get a quarter, the first person pays half the court costs and the others each pay a quarter. The costs are split fairly based on what each person actually receives.
