XXXIII Pt. I § 6 Reporting

When a court sets up a special division to handle child abuse and neglect cases, it has to keep track of how those cases are moving through the system. Every three months, the court must send a report to the Louisiana Supreme Court showing whether the special division is actually speeding things up.

This report needs to cover cases handled under the "one-family, one-judge" approach too. That means when the same family has multiple cases, one judge stays with them instead of the cases getting split up between different judges. The reporting requirement helps the Supreme Court see whether these specialized divisions are working as intended and getting kids and families through the court process faster.
